Information this site receives

The hosting provider may process standard technical request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. Flat Basset Boutique does not ask you to create a site account or submit personal dog records.

Browser tools

The name generator and sitter instructions builder run in your browser. The builder keeps entries in page memory only; it does not submit entries, put them in links, save them to browser storage, or create public result pages. Advertising scripts are disabled on the builder page. Printing and saving a PDF use your browser’s print controls. Save your own copy before closing or refreshing the page. Other browser features and extensions operate under their own settings.

Campaign links

If you arrive through a tagged promotional link, the site temporarily keeps the link’s campaign source, medium, campaign, and content labels in session storage for the current browser tab. If you choose to open Gumroad checkout, those labels and the location of the checkout button are added to the checkout link so sales can be attributed to the promotion. They are cleared when the tab session ends. Sitter instructions and other text you enter are never included.

Purchases through Gumroad

Checkout, payment, receipt, tax handling, file delivery, and purchase support are provided by Gumroad. Information submitted during checkout is processed under Gumroad’s policies and terms. Flat Basset Boutique may receive the purchase and contact information Gumroad makes available to a seller for fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Search performance

Google Search Console may provide aggregated search queries, impressions, clicks, countries, and device categories. It does not provide us a list of individual visitors.

Advertising and cookies

Some free pages may display advertising supplied by Google and other participating vendors. Those services may use cookies, web beacons, local storage, IP addresses, browser or device information, and visits to this or other sites to serve, personalize, limit, measure, and report advertising and to prevent fraud.

Guides link to outside primary sources. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices. Opening an external checkout or reference site leaves Flat Basset Boutique.

This page will be updated if the site begins collecting new categories of information or adds another service. A substantive change will receive a new effective date.
